Con Sabor is a Salvadoran restaurant nestled on Venice Blvd in Los Angeles, offering a straightforward, no-frills setting that immediately feels welcoming. This spot is best experienced when you want a hearty, authentic Salvadoran meal that leans on fresh, made-to-order dishes rather than fast-food shortcuts. The place attracts a mix of locals familiar with Salvadoran cuisine as well as newcomers eager to try something beyond the usual Mexican offerings in the area.

The atmosphere is casual and cozy, with limited seating that encourages either a quick bite or takeout for grabbing on the go. Service tends to prioritize attentiveness, and because meals are prepared fresh, it’s smart to come with a bit of patience — especially during peak lunch or dinner hours. This is not the place for rushed dining, but rather for savoring dishes worth the wait.

The menu reflects classic Salvadoran flavors and favorites, shining a spotlight on pupusas with a wide variety of fillings like loroco, jalapeño, or chicharrón with cheese, all made to order. Alongside pupusas, items like salpicon, yuca frita, and seafood options like mojarras and camarones offer a bit of variety, showcasing the country’s comfort food heritage. Drinks like the authentic Salvadoran horchata and tamarindo provide a refreshing balance to the savory offerings.

Locals often come here looking for something filling and familiar, whether it's for lunch breaks or casual dinners with family and friends. The parking and size of the place suggest it’s more suited for quick meals or takeout rather than long, leisurely dining sessions. If you’re curious about Salvadoran cuisine or after a reliably authentic pupusa or tamale, Con Sabor’s combination of generous portions, robust flavors, and unpretentious atmosphere makes it a solid choice on the Westside.

A quick stop for a bite to eat after landing in LA. The tamales and pupusas were delicious. A lot bigger and better than the pupuseria near us.

When i tell you these are the best pupusas, imma need you to believe me. Run over. The prices are honestly too low for the quality. Plus the tamales? Perfection. No notes.

A great experience. We were greeted immediately upon entering. We had the pollo guisado and carne guisada. Everything was excellent and made fresh. Allow extra time because of this.

Great Salvadorian food!! My favorites are pupusas revueltas, plátanos fritos, pan con pollo, and empanadas. It is a small place to eat, but you can always order to go.

This was the highlight of my pupusas tasting. With them having a combination of over 50 flavours, this is the best pupusas I’ve tasted in Los Angeles. I had an order of yuca con salpicón, pupusas de loroco, jalapeño, garlic and loroco. Their horchata is the real Salvadorean horchata and was so good! Trust me this is an amazing spot and legit Salvadorean restaurant. Trust me I am back in one month to Los Angeles and I will be hitting this spot again. Very clean spot and covid safe. Great customer service and the food will keep you coming. Keep on eating and have fun. #chicosreviews76

The Pupusas are bigger than you think. 2 are enough but if feel like filling up then 3 would sufficient. The atmosphere is chill and clean.

I ordered their queso con frijol pupusa and loved the cheese they use tastes really good. Worth a try and better than other pupusas I’ve had
